Derby 2010

After missing a couple of Derby's while in South Carolina, we realized we NEVER want to do that again. Derby is too much fun, it is a family tradition for me and we just want to make sure we go every year! We traveled home and started off right away at the Oaks, followed by meeting up for a brunch before Derby, then headed to the track again and topped it off with visits with family and Claudia Sanders Dinner House. Abigail was entertained by multiple family sitters including Great Grandma Duncan and Duffee, Aunt Chrissie and Bubie and Zeyde-thanks a bunch guys!

Spring Beach Trip

We headed East to the beach for a relaxing weekend to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Our Beach condo was right on the ocean and was in a great location. We hit several restaurants, outlet malls, the lazy river and pool, and of course the beach. Abigail loves the water, in fact, when we had to leave the pool or beach a mighty tantrum was thrown.
The Tequila Hurricane at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville sucked me right up, Mommy and Daddy had to fish me out of the giant blender

Our 50th trip down the lazy river......

Daddy helped me pick out some great seashells that I will treasure forever...no really, I play with them everyday and I am always counting them to make sure none go missing.

Chillin' on the balcony in my beach gear.

No trip is complete without a ridiculous amount of money spent on the carousel!

We celebrated Easter this year with an Easter Egg Hunt, Church at St. John Neuman and another Easter Egg Hunt at my friend Cody's House. Abigail was VERY into Easter this year since it involved candy and lots of cool gifts in multiple Easter baskets, but she is not spoiled, not at all.

The Lake Carolina Easter Egg Hunt was a madhouse, in fact, it was over in 60 seconds and we missed most of it.

Luckily, there were live bunnies, arts and crafts and a Bouncer-so I was entertained for awhile!

Mommy made me wear this frou-frou dress for Easter mass.

But I looked awfully cute in it!

After mass, I ripped that frou-frou dress off and headed over to Cody's house for an Easter Egg Hunt. We were exhausted after the hunt and jumped in his wagon to cool off and count our booty!

Spring is in the Air

We are still here! We have just been busy traveling and are finally back home for a long time! Yay! We have been doing some fun stuff this spring including trips to Gatlinburg, the Zoo, A St. Patty's Day Parade and the Annual Lake Carolina Oyster Roast.

No thanks, you guys eat those Oysters, I will stick to my plastic food. They look really good though.....NOT!

Movie time at the hotel with Daddy, Aunt Chrissie and Julia.

Mommy and a friend went on a girls weekend, but Daddy and I had even more fun at the Zoo!

Me and my buddy Henry watching the St. Patty's Day "parade"! Mommy says this parade kinda sucked, but then again, she just got back from Mardi Gras!

South Carolina Blizzard 2010

Whadda ya know, probably the one and only REAL snow while we are living in South Carolina and we missed it! While Andy and I headed to New Orleans for a grown-up trip during Mardi Gras weekend, Abigail was in South Carolina having a ball in the snow with her Bubbie and Zeyde. Bubbie and Zeyde sure did make sure their time here with Abigail was a special one, they went out to eat, made a snowman, played at Bouncerific and My Gym and had a blast! See some of the pics from the visit below.

At my new favorite place, Bouncerific, they have tons of toys, dress-up and BOUNCERS! There is nothing more that a kid could ask for!

We built a little snowman. I am still talking about that snowman to this very day every time we are outside.

Look at all the snow! It's a Winter Wonderland(well for SC anyway)!

Playing in the snow, making snowmen, and bouncing around at Bouncerific makes you tired.

The very next day all that snow was practically all gone!

This was my Happy Valentine's day kiss that I sent to Mommy and Daddy's phone since I was away from them this Valentines's Day!
They made it up to me though when they got back with oodles of these cool beads. Thanks Bubbie and Zeyde for coming to stay with me so that Mommy and Daddy could have a fun grown-up trip. Mommy says-Let's do that again next year!

Winter Fun

Abigail is growing up so fast, talking, playing with toys and letting me know what she wants to do ALL the time. Most of the time, that involves playing in the new playhouse that Santa brought her last Christmas. She also likes to make silly faces with daddy and her favorite Winter activity is watching the CARDS play basketball. We are learning new things everyday including ABCs, counting, throwing things away in the garbage, putting her clothes in the hamper, sliding down the slide by herself, dancing, and using silverware. See below pics for a peek at the last couple months.

Check out my new crib, I would move all my stuff and live out here if mommy would let me.

What do you mean these are not real appliances? I asked for a GE Monogram stove to go with my playhouse.

Daddy and me making silly faces, we can be REALLY silly together!

My Uncle Brunelli came to visit a couple times this Winter while he was on the fellowship interview trail! He is silly too!

Go CARDS!
