Playing at the Park

Abigail is growing up and doing so many new things. Since she started walking in May, it is a whole new world. She can walk around outside and explore, practice going up and down steps, push her baby in her stroller, and swing on the swing. We do all these things while playing outside in the park across the street from our house. When we bought our house 3 years ago, I had just those things in mind and it seemed like a very far off time when we would have a little one that could enjoy the big open space and playground, just goes to show you how much time flies by. Enjoy the recent pics from this past weekend:

I love to run around in the park and see what kind of trouble I can get into!!!!

I usually find something on the ground that I am not supposed to have and I throw a fit when mommy takes it away from me :(

Baxter usually comes to the park with us. I am learning how to gently pet him and give him kisses. I am also getting really good at saying "dog" when I see him.

I love to run really fast far away from mommy and daddy so they can chase me!!! HaHa you can't catch me!

Tomboy

Apparently we have a tomboy on our hands. Abigail wears her cute outfits, flashes a girly smile, and has eyelashes for days, but don't be fooled, she loves to get dirty and carry any available ball around. She prefers footballs which are about the same size as she is and it is quite funny to watch her maneuver picking it up and running around with it(usually resulting in a fall). I think because this is her favorite thing to do it had a hand in determining her first real word besides mama and dada. She says "ball" all the time, if she sees one on TV, if there is one at school, if she sees Andy's soccer ball in the garage and of course when she is playing with any of the numerous ones in the house.

Is it just me or does she look like she has a quarterback grip on this football?

Playin' a little pigskin before heading out to school....

Armchair football...we should get used to this idea with football season right around the corner!
