Sorry the updates have been few and far between!!! A lot has happened in the past month. Abigail had her 2 month doctor's appointment and she was 9 lbs. 12 ounces. Right now, she is probably much bigger, because that appointment was on 8/5. We have also had our first babysitting experience, it was hard to leave her, but we had a great sitter and Andy and I enjoyed our night out. We also took Abigail on her first shopping trip to Charlotte with Mamaw Duffee and our friend Beth. She was very well behaved and she will be the best-dressed baby in the fall thanks to the trip. We also went to a Columbia Blowfish Baseball game with Mamaw Duffee, it was very fun and I see her attending many more sporting events in the future. We visited Aunt Deb in Savannah and Abigail had her first real smile while we were there. And, finally, Bubie visited and we all went down to the beach. Things did not go as planned as Bubie ended up in the hospital for 2 days, but she is much better now. Despite the unexpected hospital stay, we enjoyed our time together and we even ended up getting to see Zeyde as he flew down to take care of Bubie and drive her back to Louisville. I wore my "Abigail" towel at the beach. Mommy says this towel has my name on it. I can't read yet, so I will take her word for it.
