After a detour around Atlanta, 10 hours, and a very tired Mommy and Daddy, we finally reached Louisville, our destination over 9 days of being at home. Hooray! I can't remember the last time we were able to come back to Kentucky for this extended amount of time. Nice long, relaxing holiday week, you say? No way! We jam packed our week with a trip to The Galt House's Winter Wonderland, holiday and birthday parties, trips to Incredible Dave's, UofL games, a side trip to Belterra, relative holiday hopping, nights out with friends and a couple of movies. I needed a vacation from our vacation after we got home. Luckily, as soon as we got back to SC, we were able to relax a little over New Year's. However, our New Year's was also spent reorganizing out house just to fit the now massive collection of toys that were accumulated over the holidays!
The Galt House was decorated beautifully. We founded a new family tradition of going there to visit the WinterWonderland and to see Santa!
There were countless trees on display throughout the hotel.
This display of silk chinese lanterns greeted us at the WinterWonderland in the Conservatory.
There was a real gingerbread house and castle. Their chef and staff was working overtime to say the least putting together this display

Oh boy, Oh boy, waiting in line to see Santa....he must be super awesome to have to wait in line to see!
Code Red...Code Red....Santa is not so awesome! Maybe next year!
At least they gave me a giant lollipop to suck on after we saw Santa to calm me down!
