Watch out.....'cause here she comes!

Abigail is now mobile and getting into everything. I knew this day would come, she literally just went from rocking back and forth one day to taking strides the next. She is also pulling up on some things. This past Sunday, I finished giving her a bottle and laid her down for a nap. I went to fold laundry and peeked in on her 5 minutes later, and there she was peeking at me from the top of her crib. She is getting on her knees and holding onto the crib-see the pics below.....

This is the the first crawls I took a couple of weeks ago.

And here I am perfecting the move.....

Somebody come get me....I don't want to take a nap.

Oh good, there's mommy, she's a sucker for my cuteness, she'll come get me.

And this is how I now kneel in my crib so I can peek out and see what's going on.

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays

While we were home at Christmas, we also got to go to 4 Birthday parties. Believe it or not, this is not even half of the birthdays we celebrate for family in December. All the birthdays are important, but most important was cousin Madison's 1st Bday and cousin Julia's 2nd Bday. We were partied out though!!!! See below w/ commentary from Abigail.
Mommy and Daddy left me at home while they went out with family and friends to celebrate Aunt Chrissie's Birthday!

We all went out to a Mexican restaurant for Papaw's birthday!!!!

Cousin Julia had her 2nd Birthday and we celebrated Strawberry Shortcake style.

And last and most importantly, Cousin Madison turned 1!!! Where does the time go?

She got her own cake to dig into!!!! I sure hope Mamaw can make me a cake in June too!!!!

1st Christmas

We traveled home to Louisville to enjoy Christmas with friends and family. We got to go home for a whole week. That week seemed short though since it was filled day and night with stuff to do. We again took advantage of babysitters and enjoyed a couple of nights out on the town as well as a trip to Belterra Casino in Indiana with some good friends.

Christmas would not be complete without lots of babies. Here is me, cousins Julia and Madison and second cousin Jackson.

And of course, Christmas would also not be complete without the ridiculous amount of presents at Mamaw and Papaw's house.

Daddy and I could not wait to open the mounds of presents!!!!

Daddy really enjoyed having a whole week to spend with me-I got lots of kisses!!!!

This is the rocking bug I got from Bubie-I am almost able to get on and ride him by myself.

Aunt Lala is trying to get me to walk early-it did not work, maybe next time you see me!!!!!

Pre-Christmas festivities

It seemed like the two weeks before Christmas we had a party every night, which kept us very busy!!!! It was quite stressful finding sitters and arranging our schedules to make them all-but we did it. Take a look at pics below with words from Abigail:

I helped decorate the tree and I tried to eat the yummy tinsel right after this picture was taken!

This is me, Daddy, and that Santa guy at a Christmas party for Daddy's work. I was whispering in Santa's ear what to bring me for my first Christmas.

Daddy carried me around the zoo to see the Lights Before Christmas show. Mommy bundled me up, I could hardly move!!!

This is me and the Grinch with my friend Ashley at our neighborhood Christmas celebration, Harborside Lights.

I wanted to see Santa also at Harborside Lights, the Grinch is fun, but it is not Christmas without Santa!!!!!

Baptism

While home for Thanksgiving, we had Abigail baptized so that friends and family could share in the event. She was baptized the Saturday after the holiday in a private ceremony at the church we got married in, St. Brigid. We celebrated with a big party afterwards and enjoyed all the company. See pics below with Abigail's point of view.
Mommy and Daddy said this was a special day just for me!

I was too interested in the altar, but this is mommy, daddy, Father Goetz, and my godparents-Aunt Chrissie and Uncle Adam.

Mamaw sure does have her hands full with all three grandbabies!

Bubie bought me this pretty headband to accentuate my bald head.

Mommies good friends Sarah and Megan stopped by to see me for the first time! But it won't be the last-I will see them again over Christmas!

I was so tired of all the partying, I fell asleep in Papaw's hands.

After my nap, they finally took that ridiculous dress off!!!!

1st Thanksgiving

We traveled home for Abigail's first Thanksgiving. It was the first time she had been back to Louisville since she was 3 weeks old!!!! We had a great time visiting family and friends. We also got to go have some fun and take advantage of free babysitters. The visit was short, but we came back to Louisville less than a month later for Christmas. She below pics with Abigail's comments......

I was mommie's little turkey on Turkey Day!!!!

I had some yummy green beans for my Turkey Day feast!

Here is me and my Zeyde, he misses me and I miss playing with his moustache.

Mommy and Daddy went out to watch a concert and I partied all night long with my cousin Hunter.

The day we left to drive back to SC we decided to get some pictures made with my cousins Julia and Madison since it was the only time we would be together. I learned what bribery was this day...
